Annual Poorman Hill Neighborhood Association Meeting

2021 Poorman Hill Neighborhood Association Annual Meeting

Dear Poorman Community,
Happy Holidays and (almost) New Year! 2020 has not been the kindest year, but most of us are so fortunate to have a roof over our heads, food in our bellies, and friends, family, and amazing neighbors.

Annual Meeting

DATE: Tuesday, January 26, 2021
TIME: 6:00 PM

Agenda

  • 6:00:    Arriving
  • 6:05:    Introductions of Members Present
  • 6:15:    Fire Chief Update
  • 6:25:    Update from Treasurer
  • 6:35:    Mail Theft Mitigation
  • 6:50:    Selection of Board Members

It is that time for year again for our Annual Meeting.  We will join together on Tuesday, January 26 at 6:00 PM via zoom (request link from Jcanty@wildblue.net or bstahl01@gmail.com). Our focus will be to socialize, get to know neighbors, get brief updates from our Fire Chief, Treasurer, and on mailbox theft mitigation, and select Board members.

Please plan on attending. We also need help!

If you are interested in serving on the Board or want to nominate someone within our community, please email Jeanine Canty (jcanty@wildblue.net).  If you are nominating someone, please make sure they are willing to serve.  It is for a two-year term.  At the end of this message is a listing of the various positions.  If there is one you are drawn to, please let Jeanine know.  The commitment involves attending a few board meetings a year and fulfilling the position’s description.  We also are always looking for folks who are willing to serve on the Social Committee and/or Co-Chair the Committee.  If you have questions, please ask.

Annual Membership Dues

Finally, since it is almost 2021, please be sure to pay your membership dues $80. If you missed paying your dues for 2020, you can pay both years – we had a lot of very worthwhile fire mitigation expenses this year.

Best wishes,
Poorman’s Neighborhood Association Board
