Poorman Hill Neighborhood Association
Located in a beautiful, pristine area in the foothills above Boulder, CO, the Poorman Hill Neighborhood Association is a community organization committed to preventing wildfires and other natural disasters, preserving the wildlife and ecologically sustainable health of this area, as well as supporting a diverse, friendly, and participatory community.
Formerly known as the Poorman Volunteer Fire Department
Our community organization was established in the 1970’s in order to preserve the character of our neighborhood, foster awareness about various issues, and to mitigate the threats of natural disasters. In addition, our community likes to gather in celebration of various holidays (4th of July, Oktoberfest, Winter Sing) and to come together for community service work in our neighborhood.
